About

My name is Milad Bahadi, ZEN HYENA is my solo project. I'm born and raised in The Netherlands, where my love for rock started at an early age. Over time, music became much more than something I listened to. It became an outlet, a way to process thoughts and experiences. What started with learning riffs and writing lyrics gradually evolved into creating my own songs and building a project that reflects a part of who I am.

I write the music, record the demos and shape each idea from the ground up. Along the way I enjoy collaborating with sound engineers and other creative people who help bring those ideas to life. For videos and artwork I sometimes use AI, but the music is always 100% written by me.

I don't chase trends or satisfy algorithms. I create the kind of rock I love listening to. Some songs come directly from personal experiences, while others are inspired by the people, events and challenges that surround us.
